you say that now, but as soon as god takes away everything from you, you won't be praising god.

f

that's some pretty f'ed up thinking... thanking god for killing off your family or friend... "oh gee. thanks god. i feel so much happier now that my loved one is dead. praise be to the lord who kills good people." and no, i don't believe that 100% of the donations go straight to their destinations. that's pretty naive in itself. and i do plan on living my life as i see fit, with or without god's help.

f

he means that believers are more than willing than those who aren't. if a pastor goes up to a faithful christian and says that he's taking up donations but doesn't say what it's for, the believer would donate money 9 times out of 10. for all we know, those donations could be funding a drug cartel or a terrorist cell. hahah.

f

how about this one "faith is the best way to extort money from believers"

f

wow... i guess everybody has their own turn ons... hahah

f

hahah. that's a good idea.

f

proving god exists is as impossible as proving the big bang theory. or that time exists. it's like the lochness monster. there are various speculations and eyewitnesses but no substantial proof. if anything, god exists because people believe he exists. it's sorta like "i think therefore i am". god exists because people think he exists and god doesn't exist because other people think he doesn't.

f

hahah. you don't havta capitalize everything. proper grammar is good enough. and maybe it's because i have no imagination that i don't fantasize about characters? or maybe i'm too realistic and cynical about stuff. X3

f

keyword being the past... i see a lotta kids claiming themselves to be "good christians" but do stuff a decent person shouldn't be doing: drugs, rape, murder, etc. usually, not to those extremes but hypocritical nontheless. and they come up with the excuse of "oh. i'm not doing anything bad or sinful. it's all part of god's plans." and whatnot. i'm not saying all christians do this sort of stuff but the few who do would shame any good christian. and i just went off on a tangent didn't i... hahah

f

eheh... that's a little more description than i wanted but whatever floats your boat.

f

definitely american music. there are little to slim metal bands in japan that are worth mentioning.

f

i seriously wonder if you put effort into your sentence structures priincess... but whatever. i seriously doubt god himself will help us. when was the last time there was an intervention by god? a millennium ago? why should god get the credit when he didn't do anything. he's just an observer. a spectator. or whatever similar words are out there. if we were to give him credit, it'll be like we're feeding his ego. it would be more of a master-slave relationship than a parent-child relationship wouldn't you think?

f

battle royale. winner is right.

f

funny as it is, i'd rather not get one from a hobo. i'll bet most hobos' organs are already decaying from all the alcohol and drug abuse they've done throughout their lives.

f

music

f

or claim yourself to be a god and start a religion/cult. it's rather simple to start one in my opinion. write a book full of bullshit and go find stupidly gullible people to follow your ways.

f

why would you say arabs? or did you mean the iraqis and afghanis? unless you actually meant the arabs although i don't see why. so can you clarify for me?

f

if God smites me or strikes me down with lightning and I live through it, sure why not. or like in Moses' case, a bush on fire and a voice coming from it (which could possibly be me or one of my friends pulling a prank on people, but whatever) or maybe God appears in front of me personally and turns me into an old man like it did to Moses and live to like 1000. basically, just physical proof would be more than sufficient instead of other people's opinions and a possibly fiction book.

f

yeah. no doubts about it. same people, same words, same whatever. but who cares. i'm just here to kill time. hahaha

f

there are many a people who believe that a god exists and has a plan for us even though nobody knows what those plans are (one aptly named priincess... hahaha) then there are some who don't (like me) i live my life on "go with the flow" among many other things. so on that aspect, do i not live my life according to god's plan? even though it's stated differently and i don't believe in the christian god, do i not follow exactly what the bible says via other christians tell us to do: leave it to god and he'll show us the way? forget the part about having christ and god in my life, that's not the main topic or point of this discussion. so am i right or not?

f

since hermaphrodites became a gender? i don't know... hahaha

f

no. there is only one problem with a female being an infantry/frontline ops. their periods. everything else is fine. i mean, i've been deployed with females and they do a great job. but them having periods will get them injured or killed. i know it only happens a day to a week per month. but the truth is, having to worry about them during a firefight is a major distraction and can get other soldiers killed. and about the standards, the only difference is pt and it's such bs that they have to do way less push ups and have a longer run time than guys do... i can understand the push ups 'cause they have a weak upper body but the run is full of shit... anyway, all soldiers fall under two standards: the soldier's creed (with the warrior's ethos in it) and the seven values.

and i'm only talking about army, 'cause i'm army and really don't give a rat's ass about the other branches... go army~! hahahaha.

f

no. there were some points to wars. it is not entirely a waste of money. sure it destroys the earth but it can be repaired, not to the full extent but it's possible. i don't know about the soul of human species... i, myself, don't believe in a soul so count me out on that one. i.e: the american revolution. the americans fought off the british so they can escape prosecution. is that not a worthy reason to fight for? or are you a tyrant? what about the world wars. nazi germany was persecuting and destroying the surrounding countries. was it not the right thing to do to fight them off? or are you a nazi? also, on that note, being involved in the world wars helped boost our economy during the great depression. that was a great plus. people found jobs in factories and companies that supported the war. even though the equipment and supplies was used to kill people, it was for the greater good. i'm not saying war is absolutely good. i mean vietnam was a mistake. even though we could've won if we fought a couple months longer, it still was a mistake to help the french on that one. (god the french army are useless...) and do explain on the male insecurity bit...

f

i wouldn't say that much... i mean science did help cure and prevent a lot of diseases back in the old days... if it wasn't for medicinal practices, your ancestors might have never gotten the immune systems to fight off diseases and since heredity sort of factors in, you would've died at an early age. also, you yourself said that you were an unbeliever at first right? so what if you died before you hit your conversion point? i'm sure you'd regret dying like that if you think about it like that now.
